Happy new year, everyone! Sorry for the long hiatus. I’m now back from Christmas break and starting my final semester at TIJT. I completed my Repair Technician certificate last month, and I’ll be graduating in May with an AAS in Jewelry Technology and a certificate in Gemology! By August I’ll also be certified in CAD.
I hope to work with gems or design, but I will be searching for any and all jewelry related jobs in the Austin area starting this August. Almost there!

14KY gold pendant and chain with Akoya pearl and red coral
I took my inspiration from Ise Shima National Park in Mikimoto’s (of Mikimoto Pearls) home region.
I have always been inspired by Japanese culture, history, sociology, philosophy. Been learning about pearls this past week and finding the whole process very interesting.
